Hispanic Population
Thursday, October 2nd, 2008The Hispanic Population is growing. The US Census Bureau claims that as of July 1, 2006, 44.3 million Hispanics lived in the U.S. That number has grown since then. What is more astonishing is that Hispanics accounted for one-half of the nation’s growth between 2000 and 2006. The Hispanic growth rate (24.3%) was more than three times the growth rate of the total population (6.1%).
